To book a consultation with Jenny Edelstein at Brain Food, please call 020 33977866 (+4420 33977866 from outside the UK) or email jenny @ Once you have scheduled an appointment, you will be asked to complete a confidential new patient questionnaire and food diary for your child. This should be submitted online or returned to Brain Food via post or email at least three working days before your first appointment.

At the initial consultation you will meet with Jenny to discuss your child’s full medical history, his or her current physical and mental well-being, and any nutritional or feeding issues he or she may be having. You will be given a personalized protocol for your child’s dietary intervention, setting out recommendations for nutritional supplements, dietary changes, complementary therapies, and possibly even lifestyle changes.

In most cases, a follow-up consultation will be scheduled approximately eight weeks after the initial consultation in order to monitor progress and make any required adjustments to the protocol. Subsequently, follow-up consultations may be recommended every few months or less, depending on your child’s progress and the level of support that you feel is needed.

Consultations may be arranged either in person at the Brain Food clinic in North London (Golders Green) or via telephone/skype. Home visits in central and north London are available, although a surcharge may apply for some locations.

Initial consultations are charged at £200. This includes:

– preliminary review of your completed Confidential New Patient Questionnaire prior to the consultation

– a 75-minute consultation at the Brain Food clinic

– a written note detailing the protocol to be followed for your child.

Initial consultations for two children in the same family are charged at £240. For three or more family members, please contact Jenny for a fee estimate.

Follow-up consultations for existing patients are charged at £80 for a 45-minute consultation.

All consultations are subject to Brain Food’s Terms and Conditions.
